Nursing English Courses
We offer a variety of courses to suit nurses from within Europe and from outside the European Union. The aim of the course is to improve your spoken and written medical English skills.
Conditions
- If you are from outside the EU, you must be on a course of at least 25 weeks in order to be able to work part-time and you should also have a Level of 7.00 IELTS if you wish to apply for registration with the Irish Nursing Board.
- You should have attained at least Level 4.00 IELTS to participate in this programme.
- Our courses combine General English, IELTS preparation and English for Specific Purpose –Nursing
- You should have a background in the Health Care sector in your own country and have security clearance. You should have worked in a hospital/nursing home environment.
These courses are arranged (by group only) periodically throughout the year and are subject to student demand.
